Meet Rhett StrikA, CEO
As a previous nurse assistant, NAEYC accredited teacher (ages 6 weeks-5 years), primary school teacher K-12 and childcare director (K-12), I have spent over a decade and a half immersed in hands-on research to better study effective evidence based approaches for treating children and their support systems. I hold a Bachelor Degree from Ashford University in Education with a primary focus on learning and the brain. I also hold a Masters Degree in both clinical and school counseling from Central Michigan University. As a family counselor I have over 5 year of clinical Psychiatric experience. Spiritually, I am an ordained minister and Certified Reiki Master Practitioner in Usui Shiki Ryoho and Tibetan Reiki. In addition, I have acquired over 80 hours of continuing education credits in subjects such as, case management, applied behavioral analysis (ABA), sexual orientation, gender identity, substance abuse.
My Approach
I dive in using an eclectic style when helping clients and their families with sensory regulation, behavioral issues, and counsel the client's entire support system to bring balance. I use evidence based therapeutic techniques for enforcing developmentally appropriate practice, as well as an understanding and respect of the various gender differences across the Autisum Spectrum with respect to various neuro-developmental needs. Sessions are educationally rich as we work on behavioral interventions, social-emotional skills, understanding neurodevelopment and sensory processing disorders.
Making your life easier
Let me help carry the load. A unique part of my practice is that I will meet at the client's home or agreed upon location to accommodate clients with busy lives. Another great advantage to this is that I am able to observe clients (typically children) and their support systems in their natural surroundings. Interactive therapeutically guided beach walks, hikes, and bike rides are common with adolescent age kids.

I combine all of this with a spiritual approach. Using techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, ancient spiritual teachings and energy healing. It is my goal to help the client enhance their spiritual growth.
